I’ve been rooting through well-trodden and more overgrown corners of the piano repertoire for this programme, which follows a day and night in the forest, through a series of colourful miniatures from the French baroque to the present day.
Many thanks to Timothy Salter, Maki Gajic Murata and Josh Borin for writing new pieces for this, tackling some less musically explored species including slime mould ('Grex'), fireflies and mushrooms!
